Is there still a 14 day free trial type thing I could get? I heard of some sort of buddy system but wasn't sure what this entailed. I already downloaded the client now just trying to see if I can get a trial.

james7@snet.net if anyone wants to buddy invite me :/

Play the entire tutroial!

It does get tedious but it really is necessary. Then don't be afraid to ask questions in the TW chat channel. Also, don't worry about being a bit behind some others, within a few weeks you can truly be a usefull part of the corporation.

Would you like to know more?

Here is a better idea. Make 2 free accounts. On one account, start training all the learning skills non-stop. On the second account, you can experiment and get to know the game. Once your 14 day trial is over, you should have all attributes and the learning skill to level 4 and change. If you decide to play the game, then ditch the account that you were "getting to know the game" with and start on the other account and level up fucking fast.

^^^^^^^^^^Best idea ever.^^^^^^^^^^^^

so how much is it a month? I cant seem to locate on the BIG ASS INTERNET, this simple answer :)

And how much time will I spend doing menial stuff compared to other type MMORPGs like WoW or EQ?

Uhh, did you check the eve-online website?

Anyway, two week trial is free, after that you pay $20 and get another free month then it's like any other MMO, 12-15 a month after that. Best thing about it is you basically get the first six weeks for $20.

Menial stuff like other MMO's. :hrm: Depends on what you deam menial. The big difference with this and other MMO's is that you don't have to be online to lvl up. You set a skill to train and you can log off. May not seem that big of a deal but when you start getting into skills that take a week or more to train it helps tremendously.

So it does eliminate that part of the tedium. Also, there are so many things you can do that at least one you'll enjoy.

$20 for activation + first month, $15 per month after (less if you buy 3 months at a time, etc.)

And I've never played WoW or EQ so I couldn't tell you.

Edit: beaten :(
