Having to download updates for Shootmania everytime I wanted to play Trackmania 2 is a large reason noone plays TR2 anymore. Even if you didn't have access you had to download the updates it was/is totally ridiculous.

yea but movement is boring you have to fool enemies with running and stopping unpredictably and u have only 1 wep and can pick up railgun on some maps. + team games are real fuckfests. But that energy field closing in in dm is quite good idea. at least it was so in closed beta.
