How much time per day/week must I give?

I just signed up and downloaded Eve and was wondering how much time I would need to give to the game each week in order to play the game competently?

You can always buy money too....

(you can do this legally by buying and selling game time codes)

You won't need much money for a while as you start your character. Just about anybody will spot you some money to get you started while you learn the basic skills.

I have zero time to play for the most part, so when I play I want to go kill stuff, and not spend hours grinding out money. That's why I go the GTC route. I can spend $30 and get almost 500 million ISK, which will last quite a while for me at least.

I know you've got the money Dread, so you might think about that route. If you have any questions about that, let me know.

It might take you a bit to wrap your head around the whole game and how it functions, but once you do you can play as little or as much as you like. As it's already been said, money can be ground out in-game, or simply purchased.

What line of work are you going for?

i only play like at the most 2 hours a day. usually i just log on and click some skills to train before i head to work or classes. it's not that time consuming

let me see if i understand this correctly. you buy the GTCs online and then you exchange them with someone through a contract for isk? i'm not entirely sure how contracts work. or would you just email/message them in-game and hope they give it to you? that doesn't make much sense.

i am curious to try this route though.

you log into your account on the eve website
in the account services there is a secure trade gtc feature.

You put in the timecode who you're selling it to and for how much.

they accept it andwhen they log in you get your isk
