i want to try my hand at making maps over winter break. more balanced ones that don't feel like they are huge capper playgrounds, which is the main complaint about OC3. i only modeled for OC3 because terrain editing was crazy time-consuming and i was in summer classes, but winter break will be 4 weeks of chillin.
 
i like some of the direction ta design has gone. some of the maps seem a little more like arenas and gaming fields as opposed battlefields, like the games could be taking place in stadiums (T:V was like this, too). i think some cool maps could be made for T1 with this idea in mind. during OC3, i was tossing around the idea of making a playground-style map with this arena idea in mind, with stuff hovering in the air and objects everywhere that plays can be made off of.

so, they're will probably be some T:A/T:V inspired maps.
