There is a lot of strangeness to the CCP billing system.
Situation 1. My account was 'hacked' once upon a time (FREEE remembers this), even though I change my passwords very regularly, use unique passwords, and have obscenely complicated combinations of letters, numbers, and punctuation. Money taken from my personal and our corp. wallet went to people selling game time cards. I suspect it was somebody at CCP who has access to reset passwords, and had some ulterior motive using a timecard selling racket.
Situation 2. I once bought a timecard using ISK from a guy on the EVE-O forums before the implementation of the secure system... got myself a 90 day time card. Upon entering the timecard in to the payment system, the card credited my account with a completely random and arbitrary 154 days of play. what the fuck. I have since not seen this gentleman online again. (I was going to buy more)
Situation 3. My account was "deactivated" once in the middle of a billing cycle which was paid for by credit card. I had pre-paid for 6 months, and this was roughly 2 months in to that paid time. The reason given was that the credit card had been rejected. What the fuck were they doing running my credit card when my billing cycle didn't recycle for another 4 months... and why the fuck would it have been declined? weird shit.
