I think I liked you better when you did nothing but post emo **** and "scientific theories" about dressing and pretending to fit in with people.

Because your attempts to fit in have more or less rendered you obnoxious.

i dont mind that you arent a fan of art museums, but suggesting the EMP as the alternative is horrible. The EMP sucks terribly.

Also, the seattle art museums is one of the better art museums in the country since the renovation. They have great rotating exhibits, a really good collection, and a cool layout. If you don't like it then i would surmise that you just dont like art museums period.

complete waste of space & taxpayer money (i am assuming operational costs arent covered by use cuz noone uses it). thank you 1959 expo or whenever it was built.
The bus to the space needle isn't free, cheaper indeed though. I prefer walking.

Please stop douching up the thread. Thanks.

ptavv, thanks for the puget sound kayak idea, I was going to do a lake because it's all I'd seen. Do you have any specific suggestions or should I just find the one that's cheapest and closest?

im pretty sure you can take the agua verde kayaks through lake union and into the sound if you wanted (through the ballard locks). But it wouldnt be that nice of a kayaking excursion.

Both vancouver island and the san juans have places that you can both rent kayaks and do kayak tours. I did a 'sunset kayak tour' in the san juans that cost like $70 for 2 or 3 hours. I would recommend doing something similar although I am sure you can rent them for cheaper, just google for kayaking in the area that you plan to head and you can find info that way. Or maybe some others have experience with kayak renting places on vancouver island or in the san juans. Heres info for Orcas Island where i did my only puget sound kayaking excursion thus far - http://www.sanjuanislandsdirectory.com/orcas/okayak.htm

i dont really like tours and next time i head out that way i am renting a kayak for 3 days so i can just tour where i want.

Because its become necessary over the last week, I offer the useful (and in my opinion, necessary) following link:

Add Kuriyami to your ignore list

As for Seattle, I highly recommend the Underground tour, especially if this weather keeps up. The Underground can be downright chilly, even in the hottest of summers.

Seattle Aquarium and Woodland Park Zoo are always winners too, if you're in to that sort of thing. Both are really nice establishments these days, well beyond the old animal-in-a-cage setup they used to be.

If you're looking for a good day hike either in the Cascades or the Olympics, check out the Washington Trails Association. They usually have up-to-date trail conditions along with a "Find a hike" feature and a "Hike of the Week". (This is how I found out Kennedy Hotsprings was destroyed in a massive washout several years back )

You should go see the locks. I went kayaking in the sound. The rental place was near UW but I'm not sure where exactly.

Also go to sunset hill. I'm not exactly sure where it is though. The space needle is for the gays.

Just ride your kayak on top of an SUV and jump off while driving across 520. That'd be *****in.
