Open PvP
I've made some decisions about which servers will be going "Open PvP" this Saturday. If there is enough demand for it, we can switch or start up additional servers. The current list:

* Shrenwold
* Zenithia
* Cornelia

On an Open PvP server you can be attacked by anyone without being prompted to agree to fight. There are some limitations in place to prevent extreme griefing:

* Players below level 10 cannot be attacked
* The town of Ennar, Banks and the Marketplaces are safe zones (Inns and NPC shops are not)
* If there is more than a 7 level difference between any member of the two parties, no gold is exchanged
* After losing successive PvP fights, a "No PvP" timer of increasing length protects the losers from repeated ganking

Looks like we lucked out. Need to get my Ninja leveled ASAP so I can have some fun with this :D lol.

edit: the casino is not a safe zone. Fucking fail i know where ill be camping.

what the shit, I downloaded the BYOND client, signed up and blah blah

and still when I hit "Play Now" beside the server it says "no registered application for this extension" ?

ed- oh nvm it was just Opera being fucky, works fine in IE
 
that RedCyndranth went on and on and on about how we caused a "mass exodus" from the server because we were hardcore PvP, and that "in 3 months it's never been as bad".. then repeatedly called us "bullies"

who the fuck calls somebody a "bully" past the age of like 12
 
i'll be honest, the pvp is pretty rad. did not expect it to last 20 rounds/fight with lots of back and forth

i honestly thought we'd just see 2 turn victories with teams just nuking enemy players
