Tech frustrates the **** out of me. I have google android in the car. I want to listen to specific podcasts. The method I've encountered appears to require me to subscribe to some podcaster and then I'll get a notification when they release a podcast.

This is lazy push tech. I want to play specific podcasts in the car while I drive.

For example, Joe Rogan & Bob Lazar in this youtube video:

I drive along asking google assistant lots of questions like:

-What is the fastest land animal?
-Why do people hate jews?
-Why is spotify such a **** application?
-Who owns ID software now?
-Who owns Blizzard?
-Did Jesus really exist?
-Did America really land on the moon?
-Play Joe Rogan & Bob Lazar pod cast.

Google then tells me I need to install apps. ok so I installed:
- YT music
- Listnr
- Spotify (what a heap of *****)
- Soundcloud (I know lots DJ's so I should get this rocking)
- Finally Google podcasts

Ok so I get Google podcasts, I click subscribe to Joe Rogan. It looks like it won't do anything till uncle Joe releases his next Podcast. F that? Thats like TV where it just comes at us. I want to pick exact podcasts "episodes'.

Also Spotify is dog****traash software full of ads and is tehghey, or maybe its user error.

Help a boomer (GenX really) out. TIA

tho tbh i usually just play them off youtube that's how i found tastebuds which is basically the most triggering **** ever

I tried spotify and it sucked. I got Google podcasts too.. which kind of works. There are options:

I think I worked it out... there are multiple hosts with different amounts of episodes. Two have about 300 episodes. I just subscribed to all 6. Should just be one and that has them all. The one I originally subscribed to had only 1 episode.

Was easier back in my day. They would press it into a plastic disc and then you flip through boxes of them in a "record" shop and buy the ones you wanted. This needle thing would pick up vibrations as the plastic disc spun around and that turned into sound.

The answer is sorry you have to use multiple apps. There is no one app or place to find all podcasts. Apple use to have pretty much all of them but now they've all been sold off exclusive to other platforms.

I have a JVC RC M70, believe me it still gets rocked out every weekend while I'm gardening/washing the car.



Almost perfect condition, just needs new tape belts (but I plug an old I-phone into it anyway, when not listening to sweet AM /FM classic hits)

I even have the huge cloth carrying straps that click in like seatbelt buckles, problem is one is classic rainbow which makes people think I am now supporting gay pride, so I usually switch to the plain black when I take it out with my roll of lino for some street breaking dance battles.



Look at the size of that damn thing, I think it takes 12 D size batteries!
