It's a marketing story. They never make sense. Also, the canvas is from trucks driving back and forth through rain forests.
I didn't get it for the story, I got it for the material and look.

I spent two weeks on Manly Beach last Christmas/NY, stayed right on the beachfront in a nice second floor apartment that had an ocean view balcony
**** it was nice
although, probably a little less manly than usual

Smoking a pipe in an epsom salt/bubble bath or in the hot tub is manly. I mean, old manly but manly. Now that I am 60, I am embracing my old manliness.

people do a lot of stuff with those old truck beds. I have seen people make kids beds otu of them, use the tailgates for benches, mount it vertical on a wall and the floor of the bed is used as like a family picture/momento area

Oh my yes. A popular one in Southern states is to put it on the porch to hold a non-working washer or dryer. Place a rocking chair beside that, and a manly man can rock back and forth while sipping corn liquor, and muse on how to go bout molesting his kin.

Okay, I smiled at that one. Unless something big happens, you've won this week's Dad Joke competition.

I just went to a website, and they sent a tow truck with the check. Was super easy.
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Plasmatic again.

Was that Copart or one of it's satellite companies? They are buying up all the goodies and making bank on auction fees. My **** trailer I won at a Copart auction for $60 was $194 out the door.
I paid $1,800 in auction fees on the $7,000 dump trailer...
