uh yeah but if that's "their" plan it seems like it isn't working, because college kids have been declaring themselves a free commune of everloving fuck for 50 years now and american democrats have only shifted notably left in the past 5
more likely the democratic party is adjusting to a realignment of its coalition and independent constituencies are getting more time in the sun than they would back when unions had a firm grasp on everyone else. one of those constituencies is retard socialists/californians (most of whom are smart enough not to brand themselves as such) which conveniently picks up the college kids, i doubt it happened the other way around.
it'll shake out whenever they win a presidential election again, the wall getting built or trump getting a third scotus pick will probably be major factors. all they learned in 2016 is that you actually need a platform. they will probably mistake no-more-trump for a platform in 2020 just like republicans did with no-more-obama and it will fail in about the same way.

fact is, kids are easiest to indoctrinate. look at the little shits giving diane frankenstein a hard time over 'climate change' (aka communist wealth redistribution)

even though im not a fan of Orange Hitler, so far he is looking good for 2020 with current crop of clowns the dems have running. when you look at it pragmatically, he has lived up to his campaign promises, which we havent seen in decades. add in a 3d scotus pick and watch how the dems react, especially after kav the high school rapist. two of those in the committee showed just how shitty they are during the hearings and reinforced it with their support for poor Jussie the Oppressed Gay Man that was assaulted by Nigerian MAGA hat wearers while walking down the street on a sunny day

i mean they're dancing the shitshow right now because they're effectively the opposition, they can afford to be unserious. kinda like the tea party shit back in obama ii (altho even more embarrassing. i was more pissed than i like to be reading the michael cohen shit). i think they will find that they cannot win the presidency like this and probably not the senate either, but the house is made to bow to nonsense.
i agree that kids are easy to indoctrinate but like i said before, i think most kids wake up eventually. the most laughable congressperson atm? the kid. kids also like to rebel, and i think the identitarian rhetoric is going to become unsexy and unappealing and we're already seeing the reactionary wave. in 15 years wearing a shirt that says black lives matter to college will probably get you called a fag or shitlord or whatever insult is popular at the time.
it is really insane to hear that high school kids are now taught "racism = power + prejudice" or whatever, but i didn't take much that i learned in high school seriously, so that probably reflects more on the faculty than the students.

I'm going to assume most of the top politicians have some really good private security protecting them (maybe not Secret Service level but still). Otherwise I have no idea how half of them survive.
