Did you get the one that splits at the end, so that you're able to stand and fish?

You can't even tell us the make and model?
What kind of deal you got, what kind of sprayskirt, or paddle?
No pics?
This thread is a big pile of fail. Nice job.

If there's any truth to tv ads, you're going to get herpes now. Good job.

you never answered me when I asked if wilderness systems was a decent brand, they seem to get good reviews online.

Never paddled one. The sea kayaks look good, the rest look like something you could pay to ride in a city park lake.

hmm, well this is the one I'm looking at. I like the design, but I want to paddle it before I drop the cash, and a place in town will let me try it but not till May when they have their paddle demos.
I'd like to move to a 12' since I'm assuming it will track better and paddle a bit faster than my 10' It also has a lot more capacity so it'll be possible to take camping gear along for overnight trips.
But if it's crap, I'll keep looking.
Pamlico 120 - Wilderness Systems Kayaks
I still like my pelican, but it's a beater and paddling performance sucks compared to good yaks as one would expect.

Well yeah, increasing length by 2 feet will give you more speed, depending on what you weigh, waterline mark, blah blah blah. Plus you can get more gear crammed into it, for longer trips.

yep, a friend I usually go with has a really expensive 12' and always outpaces me and my 100 dollar crap kayak, which is annoying. Course, when we have to carry them, my 35 pound kayak is pretty nice compared to his 60+ pounder.
on the flip side, storing a 12 footer will be harder, my garage won't have room for it, so I may need to store it outside, and if it's in my truck, I won't be able to close the garage door. My pelican is in my truck right now, so when I go out today I won't have to do anything but get in and drive.
bah, too many things to think about.
