the % of the planet that was actually 1st world was very small and fragile and can never be replaced

We did not protect it, as you should with something small, fragile and precious.

We will unfortunately live to regret our kindness and generosity, we should have remembered that paying to send over foreign aid is far better than having the foreigners come to your place to get it themselves.
