I had 2 discs taken out of my spine and replaced with titanium discs in Feb last year. They seem to work pretty well.

Your form is wrong and you should switch to half grip on dead lifts.

When you come down from DL's the first movement is your butt back, then slight bend to knees keeping bar as close to legs as possible. If you keep up what you are doing you will injure yourself.

What do you mean by half grip? Form looks pretty decent to me, ass down and back flat.
