Free agency will be nuts yet again. The whole Heatly saga is also pretty interesting right now. If they move him before July 1st, his new team will have to pay his $4 million bonus. The team that he waives his NMC for may wait until then so they don't have to pay that money.

Steigerwald is an asswipe, I've never liked that fool.

He's like George Costanza.

it is interesting, and exciting for the sens; it's definitely an opportunity to flush out their depth chart with secondary scoring while freeing up some money.

the list of free agents is crazy:

nhlnumbers.com Free Agent List

i'm interested to see who takes the gamble with gaborik... the habs need an entire new roster...

I wonder if my 400mm lens at the parade was overkill?

Montreal will need a new group of players. Koivu is all but done with the Canadiens for sure. Rumors are he's headed to the Wild to play with his brother. I think Kovalev was offered a contract and captaincy if he accepted it.

Gaborik will be interesting to see. Of course, I think Edmonton will take a run at him since he's what they need. A quality left winger that can play on the top line. The only downside ot him is he's always injured. Edmonton recently went through that **** with Joni Pitkanen. I wish Edmonton could somehow get rid of their ****ty contracts like Horcoff. He's making first line money when he should only be a second line center. I would gladly trade him and a midrange prospect for Heatly's contract.
