Why is it so damn hard to get a wand?!

i got my wand on the first run

ive seen that cookie wand drop twice out of the 3 times ive gone to deadmines. you were on the only run it didnt drop for me.
 
is the conquest one no good? Its a couple rated bgs wins or arena wins and you get it. sure it has resil on it but the other stats are pretty decent.
 
it would be better than that, he could reforge it a bit if necessary

i can't get the heroic TB one to drop, so the arena route is where I'm headed also :( just need to find some foos to arena with
 
Doing arenas for the low rating 1300 point weekly cap is retardedly easy. Pick up a random whoever teammate and win 6 games against terrible people, boom capped.

That said, you could just run heroic grim batol, i've seen the wand drop a ton of times.
 
you can reforge the secondary stat if you needed it, theres more than just resillence on it

I'd get the baton of light most likely, and reforge some of the spirit into haste
 
Well I would think you'd reforge spirit into crit or mastery before haste, unless you're below the softcap.
 
Getting a wand with spirit, any wand with spirit on this tier just because its epic is a DPS loss because you fall under item budget as the stat is useless.

You're better off with Cookie's Stirring Wand, Corla's Baton or spending on Theresa's Booklight.
 
Always seems to work out this way. I was sitting on a 318 MH dagger until I got the epic one from BWD. Was pissing me off running BRC multiple times (at least 10) and not seeing that dagger ever drop. Of course, after getting the Organic Life Inverter, I got BRC random the next day and it dropped.

Had that problem with tanking 1H'ers, eventually I had to settle for the axe from H-DM and even then the "mace" dropped right after. Finally got the Fang but I still keep the axe for fighting in TB.
 
I know how you feel TechnoDonut. I've been having the same problem getting my wand to drop. Stoobs @ Kil'jaeden - Game - World of Warcraft
I still have the Wand of Untainted Power because nothing else will drop. But oh well that's the way it's always been. I got a sub par trinket upgrade last night and a guildy got the BIS Heart of Ignacious.


edit: Oh, and they hot patched the pyromaniac bug btw. ;)
