GUIDE: How To Remove *ALL* Intro Logo's, Movies, and Slow Load Times - Warhammer Forums

In case you're paranoid about running that executable, I believe he does 2 things:

1) Remove video.myp
2) Change all instances of "BIKi" (0x42494B69) in data.myp to "<null><null><null>i" (0x00000069)

I made the change manually, and it works - I have no intro logos or movies now, which makes my game start faster at least.

People have been saying the executable works too, and he's reputable, so try it out if you'd like.

If using vista, make sure you run the exe as admin.

is running warpatch.exe the only way to start up the game?

would be nice to just start it up without having to check for patches everytime.

......it is an online game. It HAS to check that you have the most recent version every time.

All of Mythic's authorization is done through the patcher as well. Stuck the thread btw.

What application y'all use to open the data.myp?

I tried notepad and wordpad and it's all gibberish in both.

I just ran the program, I got some errors to start and had to keep restarting the patcher but they worked themselves out after several attempts and it went straight into the game once done.

Yes you need a hex editor. Use the executable, it'll be a lot easier
