At least TW used to keep up with the rest of the internet scum back in the day (starting our own viral memes, doing forum raids, etc.). TW's existence was acknowledged, even if it was small/niche.

Now it's just a bunch of middle-aged men who like to troll each other with their heightened sense of self-importance (as if anyone cares about their politics or self-righteous opinion of the week). :weird:

TW died when most other forums died. When social media became popular (late 2000's/early 2010's). The rise of Facebook, Reddit, etc. eventually tamed the crude internet culture of the late 90's/early 2000's. We're just a bunch of old men being neglected in a nursing home, yelling at the clouds until one day everything goes dark. :reaper:
