i think you're being reductive
the tea party stereotype is what it is because of the highly-targeted way in which the ideology is presented and then taken up by specific groups of people (i.e., idiots who eat koch brothers shit w/o blinking bc liberty)
that is a stereotype, though, and so is tricky (and stupid) to apply

from what we know of tele and the rest of the twl crew, the broad stereotype broadly fits (broadly), so there's that: we're not working retroductively from his ideology to an assumption as to his life
