No its not free. Its an official server.

There is a 14-day free trial however. Free download and setup, two weeks to play, then if you want to continue you pay the monthly fee only.

You know there are free Daoc shards that are the full game. I would play but im not gonna spend another 12 bucks a month. City of Heroes / villains is my love right now.

That and i was thinking of playing this again: Project Visitor - Welcome to Project Visitor . Its like C&C, Tribalwars.net and tribes had a love child (yes it seriously kicks that much ass.) It would be funny if TW took this game over like TW.net.

That looks a bit like the game 10six that was out years ago. It was a killer idea until someone realized that all you had to do was be the largest group in the game and no one would want to play with you. That took about a month.
