lol yes IDK about the US but in Canada everything is basically government certified, and companies are generally dissatisfied with the BA engineers. Whether they have masters, PHD, no matter, the only things these people produce is gantt charts.
an example -
- magnetic particle inspections level 4
- liquid penetrant inspections level 4
- visual inspection
- ultrasonic
- xray
- industrial instrumentation (1-4) oil sands
- industrial instrumentation, PLC
add a business diploma/cert in there if you want
factory drafting cert, oil sands piping, pipe drafting, boiler instrumentation, inspector certificates
once these are done, lean into software dev for d-bases, some short courses are offered in these areas

that actually isn't why we have the debt
private corporations do not directly run this country
you're not as smart as you believe you are
also, you can't both work for 20 mins a week and work all the time

lol I'm not smart, but I'll take hard working.
How do you get in that much debt? it's when the smart (or average) iq people decide its time to leave.

Well if you need details, my course load is around 30 hrs a week. Work technically is 40, but they require less than 1 of actual work per week except to them all that matters is I am personally there to answer to them.
I managed to turn 2 out of 5 per term into distance ed meaning I can work day/evenings/weekends and only attend about 12 hrs out of the week, therefore having time to drink beer on the weekend.
This is not standard operating procedure, I had to scour all the educational institutions in Canada to find out which could transfer in and it was a major pain in the ass. So when I say hard work it means I bother the coordinator of the program once a week for six weeks in person driving half an hour a day to visit until there is approval. If there's one thing they respect its determination like that.

When I went to China in sept for 2 weeks and won the company $200k + in work I returned home and was basically kicked out of school for not following up on paperwork.
For the two weeks I was constipated and the jet lag made everything into an argument where I was yelling at the chair in front of his people. And he was having problems as it was. I was late 4 weeks on the college programs and in deep trouble, in addition to this people were trying to get me fired.
Ultimately I forced them to keep me and succeeded in two of the three courses, with enrollment skyrocketing because its the only program where you are guaranteed a job.
The first break I've had is now

i would be dissatisfied too, because in america we don't offer BA engineering degrees. engineering is a science, not an art....so no wonder the ones you are basing this goofy opinion on can only doodle pretty pictures and manufacture charts.
certs in engineering are what we used to give high school kids and young summer interns going to college still. to make them feel special, or like part of the team, until they obtain an actual qualification.
