[USA] The Kyle Rittenhouse Trial Has Begun

not sure what is better...

Fatlock says "Kyle was a coward, he brought a gun to a fistfight" or "parents should buy their kids AR-15s instead of skateboards".

I hope some skateboard maker produces the Kyle-15 model in 2022.

idk wat's going on with this trial etc but im just impressed u guys have the time to spend watching this and posting about it during business days

im fine with just hearing the outcome (which we already are fairly sure will be innocent but who knows) :shrug:

do u guys do this with all major trials or just this one is particularly interesting?
 
im listening to this now, its the only coverage i seeked out... i guess i wanna know "how it went" before the decision

i do major ones…well if they are televised.

its covid ive been listening to podcasts pretty much nonstop for 20 months

he ran towards the police and was ambushed by an angry violent mob of riotors and looters. He did make it to the police. He killed 1 unarmed person. Killed one armed with a skateboard and shot another armed with a pistol.

regardless of the fact youre ignoring all applicable laws, you sure messed up a lot of “undisputed facts” in your “i didnt watch or too stupid to listen” synopsis.

i never said that. i think the term 'too busy' is in some ways dishonest because we all find and make time for the things we want to make time for

i'm not saying it's a wrong choice or criticizing it

just wondering what the decision making process is for really wanting to see and argue over the minutiae of this particular case instead of like ... anything else :shrug:

i missed a chunk of it so i didnt watch it much only a couple days worth.

I had snuck a radio to every class in grade nine to listen to oj trial haha

idk maybe im just more interested in the outcome than the often ridiculous arguments that lawyers attempt to weave

i have probably more than avg contact with lawyers and probably know more than most here how full of shit they all are so i would never use my time that way :shrug:

just odd that u, amram, hells, lemon etc are like top 6 posters in this thread and 3 are canadian and the other one says he's spent less time following this case than he's spent posting in this thread
