I appreciated the guy at the end of that video where he blames the contractors for the shitty design job the city did in the first place.

Contractors don't make shit up, they adhere to the design they were given. I mean this stuff is designed, laid out, presented, reviewed, and ultimately voted to go through by whatever governing council is responsible for city infrastructure. Putting the blame for the city's shitty decision on the contractors is so fucking slimy that if this guy isn't in politics, he should be.
