Costs of Policing vs. cost of erm "defending American feedoms" (not my words).

the same old song and dance

that government spending would have worked if only it weren't for the crime of capitalism

charging us to do something and charging us too much when we just throw other peoples money at them

The government is supposed to start its own construction and tunnel digging companies, duh. Then there would be no corruption or greed.

Yes, the government has to do it this way in an oligarchy, but why aren't you asking why aren't private investors dropping cash at these infrastructure projects?

Not to worry, Trump's plan is to have toll roads everywhere that you'll have to pay every day for the rest of your life, and the profits go directly to private businesses.

LOL

worried about us paying for roads forever

has no idea how much we already pay......or that we already pay for roads every single time we fill up our vehicles with gas

government has been so good with the rest of our money

it is long past time we keep giving them a promotion

Only the Fed can collect money from various employment taxes, holds this money, and then later when it's spent - it's accounted as a cost or w/e. My point being that this asset now (liability later) is money no business could have access to or account for. And since it has to balance out neeways, why include the asset or liability?

Then we can compare aspects of the gov't budget on the same terms as we could evaluate any normal business - the ones in the private sector.

Ya'lls should listen to Mark Blyth instead of the kike cultist crank Molyneux.
Might learn something that doesn't come from the PR desk of a big corporation.

7 min in, fast paced and lucid will watch laterz thanks

Molyneux is a genius. I'd bend over for him (tbh)

Oh and to add to my little story, I actually did work on one high-school project where a private developer was sold a public school board land. In exchange for being allowed to purchase the land and develop it privately, the builder had to construct a school attached to their project (Toronto people: Tridel and the NTCI)

Needless to say, it went up quick!

NT was a strange situation - TDSB selling lands off and instead of taking the money and building a new school, they got Tridel to do it at the same time they were building their own

and yeah it went up fast but at the expense of everyone living around it - i had friends living in the surrounding buildings and they practically went nuts from the late night/early morning construction. it seemed to go on 24 hours a day at times

one guy i know used the construction to break his lease early - he had to move away, couldn't stand it anymore

That's weird. The hours were normal. Maybe I'm remembering wrong or something.. who knows.

I think TDSB made a pretty good decision. They sold .7 acres for $23M and then paid Tridel something like $5M to build the actual school. I think their total project cost was around $14M... so they made money and got a nice new school out of the deal.

^ itt trifecta of toronto turd

So the raise for the military is just about the same as paying the wages of the entire US policing force for a year.
I think :spock: would say "fascinating."
I think you should say "Thank you US Armed Forces for protecting me and my family."

the "why do we need a big military" crowd is an interesting bunch

Uh, cuz you wanna be the baddest mother fucker at the playground, retard.

The argument in this thread are foolish, especially when it comes to "Capitalist make jobs so tax them less." Is that why they don't want to pay $15 an hour and are replacing people with robots so they can make 30 billion a year instead of 29 billion. Ridiculous...

all of this is dishonest as fuk

Bill Gates wants to tax robots, but one robot maker says that's 'as intelligent' as taxing software

i mean does bill gates want to tax himself?

or anything that makes our life simpler

i don't get it...neither does he

perhaps he can create another foundation to skirt his money to so he can reduce his personal tax liability

give his kids something to make a lot of money pretending to be attached to

So, you'd have to make up for all the taxes you'd lose by raising taxes on the middle and upper classes. Not really hurting the upper class, but driving the middle class back creating an almost Feudal like system where the kings of business basically own everything and everyone. Actually, kind of sounds socialist...

it sure could if the rich continue to get out of their tax responsibility

they somehow figure out more loopholes and dodges

pay a lower % than the middle class does

When I run my numbers I pay more than all of these fucktards

sure not in their league either
