Just an fyi to anyone interested, I ordered the CE (thanks for the heads up), and sent a kindly worded e-mail asking if they had any preorder codes sitting around for the items and Amazon was decent enough to ship one my way. They also kind of screwed up my shipping so I dunno if that factored into it, but gl to anyone that tries.

Yeah, it's still in stock. Guess a TON of people did the ol' "pre-order, get codes, cancel" routine before release.

I thought there were no refunds on the pre-order.

they don't charge you until it ships - but they gave you your codes as soon as you pre-order (months ago even)

I even did it with gamestop to get a batch of CE codes

I was one of those people, only I had every intention of buying it.

They ****ed up a LOT of peoples orders, got authorization codes for charge then tried 12-15 (in my case) more times to get NEW auth codes which sent my card into fraud protect mode and overdrew it.

It took a week to figure it all out, by the end of it I had an Indian woman from capital one CS, arguing on conference call with an Indian woman from Amazon until the Capital one said something in a language I didn't understand and the one from amazon hung up. (Yes I fail because I had no way to record it at the time)

Now I reordered it since they canceled it and its not do to arrive until oct 10th.... so yea, last time I go through amazon for a pre-order.
