[Mega] MAGA Super Trump Mega Thread

I'm not sure how many people honestly thought voting for Trump to "drain the swamp" was even remotely a good idea. At the end of the day Trump is a businessman, and businessmen benefit most from NOT having the swamp drained.

Basically it is like believing resident glutton is the best person to ration out food.

Hmmmm - I wonder if something is wrong in Portland? Nahhhh. Couldn't be.
Portland police debut new video to attract qualified applicants, fill vacancies | OregonLive.com

Portland police hope that higher salaries for officers, three newly assigned police recruiters and a year-round application process will help fill 74 vacancies and prepare for upcoming retirements.

Police also Tuesday unveiled a new video that's been in the works for a year, featuring interviews with officers touting the bureau and city and describing the type of officer that the police force wants to attract.

"If you care about people and you want to make a difference and really help, that's what we're looking for,'' Assistant Chief Chris Uehara says on the video.

From reddit:

"This is actually not a new concept; for a start there has always been this notion that "the left" fight amongst themselves and end up not being as effective. To the best of my knowledge, this was also a concern for the socialists and communists throughout most of last century.

The feminist movement has also been doing it for a long time; originally we just had the feminists, but then we had people criticising that movement for not being conscious of racial issues, and it got referred to as "white feminism" and we had writers like Alice Walker and Audre Lorde talking about "black feminism" and "womanism". There ended up being loads of branches of feminism, including "intersectional feminism" etc.

The SJW movement however takes it to a new extreme because they're ultimately not concerned with justice, but rather virtue signalling. The more offended you are, the more righteous and committed to equality you must be. It naturally follows that they would get outraged by each other's positions because it's all a desperate attempt to prove that you're the most righteous."

I look forward to the incoming liberal implosion.

That implosion might be stopped with these:

So really what you posted is massive narcissism and egocentricism on the part of the SJW... that they know better... that they are more virtuous... than everyone else?

How is that really any different than the contempt progressives show towards their fellow American with the exception of being more vocal and violent about it?

It's bad enough they already FEEL that their opinions are the MAJORITY despite what reality says. Caveat: the more they act this way, the more they turn people off to them and insure they remain the minority.

he really should lose that ridiculous haircut though

it isn't like people wouldnt take him seriously he's going to be the most important person in the world

Had to get their little jab in though...

Ha, petty.

Just wait until he is sworn in if you think it's bad now.

These are people who have proven they will double down on their bullshit. Don't kid yourself otherwise.

I bet he pays more tax into the USA in one week than you will in your entire lifetime

I would actually bet that percentage wise he pays less than your average middle class person. Of course a smaller % of a big number is still a lot.

I was just making a joke anyway, but triggered everyone :dapimp:

Honestly, Trump plays by the rules and I'm fine with that. He'd be an idiot not to. What's funny is to hear his supporters blame the people with less than them for all their financial troubles, not the opposite.

Question: Do you fault *anyone* trying to pay less in taxes when compared to those who do not pay into the system or receive more back (such as EIC) than they paid in?

no bait, no homo, etc.

I support people who work at making sure they pay the least amount of taxes as the laws are currently written. They're bullshit. When everyone pays the same % across the board, then there shouldn't be any exemptions.

It gets old hearing the same old garbage about people paying their fair share. Quit allowing these people to set that narrative because their drivel is in no way, fair. It's populism and class warfare.
