In a hot climate you fail to get rid of the heat, and you fatigue. As to the ridiculous brown theory, I'm not even going to direct a specific response - blonde = burned.

If she does, it's 1:4.

If she doesn't, it's impossible (unless there's a rare mutation or some other gene comes into play). You might get some redhead grandchildren though.

You live in warm places. Get at me when its -42 and the wind brings it to -55C.

Edit: And Geckos right. I grew up in a place where summer is 3 months of straight 30-40 celcius whether, and winter was -10 to -20, where I live now your summer is mid to high 20s, and your winters can hit close to -60 with the wind. Its easier to work in the cold to about -30ish, after that it equals out and becomes pretty shitty either way.

It would be regrettable not to be able to walk along the mediterranean seaside in the summer and not be able to enjoy the sun. Cold weather is bleak and depressing.
 
Working in very hot weather compared to very cold weather isn't really that different. They both suck.

That aside, it's easier to live in a hot climate than a cold one.
