I care as much about excessively rich cocksuckers.......as I do the political puppets that are bought and sold to keep them that way at the constant expense of others.

Notice the lack of irony when reporting that two Soros funded attack dogs. the Sunlight Foundation and Investigative Reporting Workshop, are on a dirt digging exercises against the Kochs. Maybe it shouldn't be that surprising considering Soros sends checks to CJR as well.

He thought it was funny too. We got the best government and media rich assholes can corrupt and buy.

An expansion of mental health coverage and awareness can lead to a better understanding and prevention of things like school shootings which are frequently propped up by extreme liberals as a reason for counterproductive gun control legislation.

There are silver linings.

I READ that corporations who have higher tax rates hire more workers and hoard excess profits instead of redistributing it through stock dividends that only rich people can buy anyway.

Because thats how economics work in Bizarro world.

When unemployment is a problem. When your country is in a depression/recession. When exporting of jobs out of the country has become a systemic problem. I'm not sure if raising taxes on corporations is going to be the encouragement or incentive necessary to prompt them to pick up additional hiring here at home.

Which is how shit like this happens.....

How Obama picks their CEO for his "job-focused" panel
Obama Picks Jeffrey Immelt, GE CEO, To Run New Jobs-Focused Panel As GE Sends Jobs Overseas, Pays Little In Taxes

Essentially we have created a system where you have to suck the dick of the person....or in this case corporation..... who is forcefully fucking you over.

Jimmy Carter apparently said last week that our nation is no longer a Democracy. That even the President no longer has any functional say over what happens anymore. That we are being run exclusively by these corporations, wall-street, bankers, special interest groups, lobbyists, etc. That they not only control our government, all of their decisions, but that our government is at their complete mercy.

And now we have Ronald Reagan's people agreeing with Carter about that.

Wonder if 30 years from now, assuming our current system hasn't imploded already, if Bush and Obama's people will look back on the shit we are wallowing in today as if they were somehow our glory years by comparison.

Corporate tax rates have an incredibly small effect on hiring.

Corporate tax rates have an incredibly small effect on hiring.

They have little effect on hiring......but they have a large effect on what country they hire in. Or where they base their headquarters

Which is how this continues to not only happen, but essentially gets promoted. Keep one foot in the country for manipulating and lobbying the politicians, so you can receive bailouts and no bid contracts, keep the rest somewhere else, like a tax haven, where you refuse to pay taxes on it.

Oddly enough, the biggest exploiters of our tax code are often the very ones wanting to raise corporate taxes further..... so they can punish their competition, who isn't cheating, and so government favoritism can give these cheats more of their money (via contracts, cronyism, subsidies, bailouts).

What a game.

Are you saying that GE with it's $14 billion couldnt have hired more employees and thus increasing / broadening the taxpayer base?

Im interested in why you say this as you dont appear to be a vacuous fucktard like others around here.
