I hate people. I can't stand 99% of the fucking things. I also hate being told what to do. I don't want to "commune". I don't want to "socialize". I am ok with chucking some of my hard earned dollars in the community pot for things like the military, infrastructure, space exploration, parks, all of that happy horseshit. I don't mind paying some state taxes to help with programs that are voted in. I help a brother out when I can. But after that? Fuck everything. My space is my space and my shit is my shit and fuck anyone coming to bother me. That's what I love about the US. You work hard and you get to enjoy peace and quiet. No fucking people. Furthermore, if someone decides to fuck with me, I can pull out a legal weapon and legally play judge, jury and executioner to keep them from fucking with me. I can't think of a more perfect scenario. I love this country. I am not a fan of the current attack on the first amendment. This is what happens when dickholes get too much money and power. We'll sort it out.

Billy Bragg visited my wife's work the a couple of years ago, pretty awesome. She got to meet him & he even played a tune, I think he was there as an organiser of some sort.

She works for the Trade Union movement so gets to meet all sorts of cool people.

She really hates that I would support Trump over Biden though, but we manage

mining is a necessary evil. The difference between the right and the left is the right sees reality for what it is, the left sees reality as they would like i tto be.

Well unless you can somehow use rainbows and unicorn farts to power the country, mining is required.

Ever been to a mine? Probably not. Neither have 99% of the people who protest mines. They protest something they and most of the country will never see, have never been to and that in the grand sceme of things doesn't affect anyone, but the principle is what they get their nose out of joint about. That SOMEWHERE....there is "injustice"

I'm 2 generations removed from my family being practically bound to serfdom in company towns in WV. The enlightened pragmatists who "saw the world for what it was" of that era wanted to slaughter coal miners for striking. I guess at least you are merely just shilling for a dying industry that boasts to investors about employing less people than ever before.
