Turns out if you've been to one of a few countries recently, you're not eligible for the ESTA Visa waiver program. These are Iraq, Iran, North Korea.....aaaanndddddd Sudan.
So instead I have to apply for a Visa at the embassy and have an interview. This is just a formality, but because of Covid, backlogs blah blah, the earliest appointment I can get for this is NEXT ****ING MAY.
****..
There is a cool plot twist though.......for later.

That's not how ESTA works, that's not how any of this works. Sudan isn't listed as a current sponsor of terror.
ESTA visa applies to persons traveling from 40 listed countries. You ****ed it up not by visiting a country on the list, but by visiting a ****ty country. You are also coming from a ****ty country.

The unfortunate news for America is you'll probably still be able to use the ESTA program, our TSA will just be further up your **** than usual.
You should be more worried about being a ****ty person. You know, getting drunk, belligerent and kicked off a plane. We're cracking down on midxets in the air with jail time and heavy fines.

Maybe the cool plot twist is him getting a hysterectomy in order to circumvent his listing on the FAA no fly list.

I already applied for ESTA. It got insta-rejected. Previous 5 times it's been easy. Sudan is still on the exempt list for the VWP.
