You, dont necessarily HAVE to know about game development. When you come up with a good BASE for the game(art, story, themes, ideas, etc) you can then, ya know do that wacky thing called HIRING PEOPLE, to do the actual development. its not like Salvatore and Schilling are the only 2 people working on the entire game and coding the whole thing with no help lol.
because game dev is rocket science y'know
Uhh Shilling isn't just throwing money at it. He's got a seat on the designing table.
The company thats making it is his company
They have been working on this years and the best they can come up with is 5 concept art pictures that are bleh.
In 2006, the company leased 30,000 sq ft (3,000 m²) of office space in downtown Maynard, Massachusetts.[2]
I wish Happy wasn't always so sad. :-(
/me hugs Happy.
Cheer up little buddy. Some day someone will make a game you love.
actually there are a lot of quality games i like such as most games by blizzard and valve. its when i witness remotely half assed attempts at competing with them do i immediately register my disapproval with the internets and attack any hopeful yet naive optimism.
its when a game is so perfect that i have nothing to bitch about that i'm actually sad. legions and IA have given me much joy
It's evil fuggin engineer !
I look at it as "odds are it will fail, but you never know".
Keep an open mind, someone somewhere is going to surprise us. I think a game we all know and love did that to us at one point.
Pissing on it right away doesn't really accomplish anything.
