i find all the negativity thrown in akuma's direction interesting (as i'm sure many of you do), mostly because so many people have said 'akuma is a really nice guy' about meeting him at LANs and ****

i imagine that all the people who thought he was a good guy are socially inadequate losers who were grateful for ANYONE being friendly to them

anyways at least some of you had a fun time despite the ****ups...and provided some good forum drama

Nah.. first of all I definitely don't think Mike did any of that **** maliciously. In his own mind, he really wanted to show everyone a good time. He probably wasn't even aware of his own selfishness and how it was affecting his friends. This just makes him stupid, not a bad person

Also the fact that this trip was on his home turf, and that he was responsible for most of the planning, is what brought all of this **** to the surface, whereas previously there was no pressure on him to come through for everyone when all of these guys chilled together before.

akuma isn't staying away because of fear, he's staying away because he apparently lacks a spine

That said I would never open up a bar tab with him... that's just dumb. His immaturity comes through in almost every thread he posts. I'd probably not want to order on his tab either.
