Hey staff,

Apologies if this has already been addressed, but I wanted to ask...is it possible to restore the old search functionality where when you search for all posts by user X, rather than just bring up a list of all the threads where user X has posted, it brings up a list of user X's actual posts?

create a field for xbox gamertags in profiles, possibly display the tag to the right of the report button.

I don't know if this is on my end or the BBs, but if I have a large quantity of text in a Reply box and try to click-drag to highlight text, if I move the mouse cursor UP and outside the the reply box the text in the reply box will slowly scroll downward as the text is highlighted. However, if i move the cursor down to outside the reply box the text will scroll upwards extremely quickly.

So when scrolling upward it's very easy to highlight just the text you want. But when scrolling downwards it flashes by too fast and is difficult to select the text you want.

Are pictures saved on a local TW server when they become HOF threads? B/c some threads, such as that cat pics one, is worthless once icanhazz cheeseburgers stops hosting.

Rayn, I've been wanting to do the donation/contributor thing, but I'm a debit card person. The only option I see is paypal. Search hinted that debit is possible, but I don't see how.

How can I send you $10 via my debit card?

I agree. Probably extremely easy, I'd just have to change the SQL statement slightly. I'll look into it.

Would it be possible to have the vote checkbox with each image? So that you just have to scroll through the images once, checking your favorites as you go. Then one final scroll to the top to hit the Submit button?

I will have to investigate if it is possible to put images in as poll options before I have an answer.

This functionality should exist if you go to the search screen and use the radio button on the bottom left to return results as posts instead of threads.

I don't believe this is on our end, I can't replicate it locally.

I hate to beat a dead horse, but I saw your post regarding search issues and to post it here.

edit: I only use "New Work Safe Liquid" template.

On the front page just now, there was a thread with "chinese" in the title. I searched, did not find.

I posted in a thread with words "search broken" in the title. I searched for "search AND broken" and "search broken" in both basic AND advanced search, returned nothing.

Searching "legions" returned no threads.

I don't search that often and I'm not 100% on all the changes you've made, but this is my latest experience that it doesn't seem to be working for me. Sorry if I'm newbing it up. Also:

Query: legions.
Query failed: received zero-sized searchd response.

is written at the top of the resulting searched page.

Search index is 15 minutes behind for performance reasons. I just searched and found this:

Looked at your other searches and think the problem is caused by this:

This is a new error in our search software because our search index is so big

I'm working on a fix for it. Our post search index alone is 4 GB. This is probably what is causing most of your problems.

Personally, I never post them.

Some of the other staff members post them if they get bored, but it's not on any set schedule.
