I have a new leather couch (its about a year old at this point.) When i first bought it they said it had to be conditioned about every 6 months or so, and i bought a cleaning/conditioning kit from the furniture place.

I guess this stuff is OK, supposedly has a UV protectant in it, though i don't really see the point.

Does anyone have leather furniture and use a good conitioner? I'd like something to make the leather a little more soft and supple

Dude who used to make motorcycle suits and jackets always told me he used lemon pledge spray on leather. Seems to work well. May not translate well to couches.

Good thing you have UV protection in the living room.
Also, try using sperm. It's great on leather.

Some hipster was selling leather/ beard balm at the last craft show the wife drug me to.

It's probably just coconut oil mixed with soy.

Conditioner for leather is mostly just hucksterism and gimmick. A spritz bottle of water and a cloth, and your shoes, couch, briefcase, and car seats will do just fine and outlast both of us.

If you've let it go for a long time and it has sun damage, cat pee, or whatever and it's gotten really stiff, then you can use a conditioner with a sponge, but sparingly. Birkenstock is a decent one, but honestly you're better with distilled water and a cloth.
