If someone breaks into my house I'm pretty sure the person is going to be brain dead by the time I stop swinging my bat, my safety and more importantly to me, my family's safety extends beyond the present conflict.

If they're willing to break in once, they're willing to do it again and more then likely will be out before they serve their full sentence. They can also enact legal battles where they have more rights than I do and may effect my livelihood IF I let them live, I'll make sure they are unable to use those legal rights.

If they're ****ing with my car then yes I'll let the cops deal with them. If the cops are unable to respond(ex. rioting) then they deserve every bit of trauma they'll get from me.

I'll do what it takes to ensure my family is safe, I don't feel I need a gun to achieve that. Where I'm living gun crime is extremely rare.
