All the people I know who have owned boats for a good majority of their lives and can afford to use them when and where they want love them. I am talking people who have owned boats 30+ years.

The people who lost jobs or just couldn't afford what they bought are the ones who perpetuate this crap.

My friends are constantly doing repairs to their hull down in florida...I don't know much about boats, but they are constantly spending time and money repairing it.

Make sure you dont have a fiberglass resin gas tank, todays levels of Ethanol will dissolve the resin and destroy your engine. The only fix is a new gas tank and hose lines. Older boats tended to use those obsolete fiber-resin tanks.

this is important. they use more ethanol in boat fuel than car fuel.
