I have two paritions, XP PRO/ XP HOME. Im unable to load xp pro without the disc inserted in the cdrom otherwise it will boot into xp home and I will recieve the following error message: ""Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem."

I think this could be several things related to the boot.ini file.

The boot.ini file reads : [boot loader] timeout= 10 default=multi(0)disk(0)rd isk(0)parition(1)\windows operating systems multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)pa rtition(1)\windows= "microsoft windows xp professional" /fastdetect"

How would I check if Windows XP is not installed in the location specified in the Boot.ini file?
How do I set the partition path in the Boot.ini file correctly?
