"Lucky to move to Dubai" said no one ever, other than people who can't make a decent buck in a decent part of the world.

That's just too weird for you to have made it up. GG.

The problem with vintage cars is they don't have the latest technology. For example, my GF has a 2014 Mercedes Benz C250. It doesn't have a backup camera, collision avoidance, adaptive cruse control, or apple car play.
The car also costs a ton of money to maintain. The GF had a local mechanic who couldn't program the computer, so he sent it to the dealer. They reprogrammed the computer but then the problem came back and they wanted to charge 1.5 hours of labor at $289 per hour or $434 just to look at it again. We said no thanks and I found the best local Mercedes shop on Yelp. They fixed the problem for less money than the dealer. The problem was a cable harness that was bad which was causing the check engine light to come on.
Other things still break on the car. We were just going to the grocery store, and her door handle broke on the inside of the door. Why? It's made of plastic. I ordered a new door handle on Amazon and will take it apart. The good news is these problems happen to everyone, so there are YT videos explaining how to fix it.
So my point is you're dealing with an outdated car with parts that will break.

WTF don't you have a YouTube clip to explain this to me?
You don't think if I'm spending $120k on a classic that will appreciate in value I hadn't thought I might need to maintain it?

Anyone buying a car to appreciate in value is buying it for the wrong reason.
Buy it, drive it, love it.

Because I was talking from real live experiences. I agree that buying a car as an investment is a bad idea. Especially when they don't have the latest technology I talked about. Yes, you can get a new radio with a backup camera. But it won't have collision avoidance and adaptive cruise control. Here are some videos.

Parts are hard to come by.

I'm buying it because I love them, have wanted one for decades and can finally afford one. Of course I'll enjoy driving it. Appreciation of value is the icing on the cake that means in a few years I can upgrade to a DBS superleggera.

Go watch all Tvarish's videos on Aston Martins and whatever else comes up on Youtube about them. They depreciate a lot for odd reasons but they look pretty cool.
I think the engine needs a lot of pieces removed for service and the parts and add-ons are expensive. They seem kind of mid-range Ferrari expensive to own. There may be a few available in Dubai, as it seems that would kind of be the logical center for such cars to exist.

Wouldn't buy one in Dubai, wouldn't trust them to know how to look after it properly. I'm buying in England. Yeah could be expensive to maintain but well worth it.

Never driven one but you could park any Mustang next to any Aston and there's really no comparison. Astons look classy, refined and gorgeous. Mustangs just don't.
