why would soviets invading japan slow down the war in the pacific... you are saying ussr flips?? i don't think they could win without american resupply

if we're changing events that far back then how bout no lend lease that would actually give hboy a pretty big advantage

the longer we were stuck in the Pacific front the less we could devote to Western front.

With Stalin not focused on Germany that would have 100% been the ticket to victory for someone (not us)

ok but for real manhattan project has to fail for allies to lose the war so either germany has to win before 1944 or they have to directly attack the usa or they have to have better spies or something farfetch'd like that

I mean basically just speed up Korean war and Vietnam War and force them to happen decades earlier........at the same time

one caused the other just like WW1 caused and prompted WW2

anything that spilled over into Russia would have been bad time for that party........same result napoleon and Hitler experienced

if Russia would have put more effort into boots on the ground in Japan...........we would have been forced to do the same. You can't atomic blast Russia as easy as Germany........too much country.

it is the same silly game we play with them now..........and have been for past 50+ years

I don't know who is better at that game just that they are more efficient and brutal at it (cause they have to be)

i agree with your premise that one attack on Germany can be game over

not so with Russia

definitely not so as you could see with our little Cold War thingy

all I'm saying is if those two could have played nice.......things would have not ended up the way they did for the rest of the world

they were always as much of an "Allied Axis" partner as Turkey is a good contributing member of NATO now

in my scenario Hitler invades Africa causing the refugees to go to Europe earlier which leads to Europe turning into Mogadishu and the USA not caring
 
that is Merkel plan........way better than Hitler's plan

in Merkels plan everyone gets raped to death and white people just kill themselves in shame

hers is actually a better strategy and inflicts far more pain than WW2 did
