Trial doesn't mean ****. Guilty riots... not Guilty riots... acquitted riots...

Outcome will make no difference...

Feel free to assume they are, it doesn't matter a ****ing lick. "Trying the victim" is a fun old diversion the media loves but has zero place in law.

Same as Floyd, I don't doubt the guy was a piece of **** and we're probably all better off without him, but that's not for the cop to decide and it does precisely zero to excuse her actions.

Looks like an accidental shooting under a high-stress situation initiated when the kid tried to flee due to his warrant. Oops. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

Why is it that the cops actions always have no excuse but the retarded hoodrat that had a warrant, resisted arrest, fought cops and tried to flee/elude gets a pass? **** that

Do you know how you DONT end up getting accidentally shot by a nervous cop? Well im not expert, but i'd say a solid first step would be to not fight and try to run when they are legally serving a warrant. Just a guess though.

I guess we expect people empowered by the state to behave more rationally than a hopped up fentanyl addict with covid.

As far as i know, Duante Wright didn't have any drugs on him, and nothing has been said about covid.

So a clear thinking, unimpaired adult made the decision to:
  • Ignore the state letter to renew plates
  • Drive on expired plates (misdemeanor)
  • Get pulled over once for expired plates
  • Ignore a letter from the court for court date
  • Not show up at court (misdemeanor)
  • Ignore the letter from the court stating a bench warrant had been issued for failure to appear (misdemeanor)
  • Continue to drive on expired plates (misdemeanor)
  • Fight with the cops (misdemeanor or felony depending on cops injuries)
  • Flee the scene (felony)

But somehow, this is the cops fault.

And how possibly could this poor innocent black guy on his way back from feeding blind puppies at the local homeless shelter, not been in a situation where a cop pulled the wrong weapon and shot him.

I don't know...this is a tough one....

I discovered yesterday that one of my plate lights is out. My hope is that if I don't fix it by May that the person who kills me was at least deputized.

well that depends

If you get pulled over, get a court date, ignore the court date, ignore the bench warrant, keep driving on it, and when you get pulled over the next time you fight off the cops and then flee, it might be an issue.

or you could just go fix your light for a few bucks.

hard to tell which way to go on this one.

Can you tell left from right?
Do you know the difference between a straight and cross draw?
Can you tell the difference between a pistol and a taser while you're holding it?
...and looking down the sights?

If you answered "yes" to any of the above, then congratulations you've done a better job than this cop did.

I'm not saying it's 100% her fault, there may be some bizarre extenuating circumstances out there and who knows, but at this point in time it would appear she made a mad boo-boo and that ****up caused someone to die. Sounds like a manslaughter or negligent homicide case in the making. Maybe there's some departmental or procedural **** that helps mitigate it, and if that's the case then that needs to get changed, but it's pretty ****ed up.

BTW: Minnesota again? Jesus ****, the Timberwolves aren't going to be able to get any decent free agents if this keeps going. Not gonna be a contender any time soon like that, all they're gonna get is white dudes.
