Well hello there!
I just went to a Catch 22 concert last night, in St. Pete FL. It was bouncing.
Ska is kinda of its last legs, but still skanking. Reel Big Fish, Catch 22, and Streetlight Manifesto are probally the biggest 3rd Wave Ska bands. Some others you might wanna check out are Mustard Plug and Big D and the Kids Table.
I made a thread saying 2008 would be a great year for Ska. And it has been. I went to see Streetlight Manifesto last April and they were bouncing too.
I feel that the most defining album for 3rd wave Ska is probally Keasbey Nights by Catch 22. Streetlight Manifesto has more a rock vibe and less jazz.
