A Pennsylvania court struck down the commonwealth’s mail-in voting law, saying that voters must amend the state constitution in order to enact the legislation.

The 3-2 decision by a five-judge Commonwealth Court panel of three Republicans and two Democrats struck down Act 77, which has allowed Pennsylvania residents to vote by mail without an excuse since 2019.

A Clemson University admissions counselor has been reassigned from her role after calling Republican applicants part of an "oppressive group" in a Snapchat story.

Campus Reform reported that Clemson University admissions counselor Monica Rozman made the post and wrote that "no one cares if you're Republican."

"Reviewing college apps and , just wanna say: no one cares if you're Republican. Like, small government, low taxes, etc., republican. BUT BUT But, if you're gonna talk about being Republican don't act like it's an oppressed group bc it's not," Rozman wrote in the Snapchat story.

Rozman continued and said that Republican applicants to Clemson University "identify with an oppressive group" if they don't "actively denounce the white supremacy and misogyny" in the party.

Cancel culture is pretty cool now that republicans are canceling people

"We do not need to shut down most of Lower Manhattan because one cop died for probably doing his job incorrectly," she said. "They kill people who are under 22 every single day for no good reason and we don’t shut down the city for them." She continued, "Like this is fucking ridiculous. This is fucking ridiculous. What if somebody is having a heart attack in this area? Nobody can get to them because it’s all blocked off for one fucking cop."

Her employer, Face to Face Films, wrote on its Facebook page Saturday, it had "just been made aware of an insensitive video involving one of our members, Jacqueline Guzman. Face to Face Films does not support nor can condone these comments made about fallen Officer Rivera. As a result, she is no longer a member of our company."

“5/30/20: NYPD SUV drives into a crowd of protestors. Ideal conditions for reciprocity.”

“For a school teacher to condone an act of terrorism is reprehensible. I wouldn’t want him giving my own children instruction of any kind,” a Manhattan cop told The Post.

“You have a city worker wishing physical harm or worse to fellow city workers during a solemn service,“ a Brooklyn cop said. “It is the ultimate act of cowardice.”

Earlier (in this post), actress Jacqueline Guzman was fired from her New York City theater company for her online comments about the funeral, which she called ” f–king ridiculous.”

Tucker didn't mention "opportunity zones" which are quietly driving much of this dynamic behind the scenes. Amazing how little people know of it and how it got started. He mentions "investment funds" but he didn't say where those are coming from. Take Seattle for instance:

Here is the detail for that tract that ends in 300:
Census Tract 93, Seattle, Washington - OpportunityDb

Here is a list of the funds operating in that area:
Census Tract 93, Seattle, Washington - OpportunityDb
These are the "investment funds" that Tucker spoke of.

Here is a link to just one of the investment firms in the Seattle area linked above. They are not based in Seattle, of course.

Check out that diversity.

So, behind the scenes, groups of mostly white rich people (and through them foreign investors) have moved in to take control of many of the major cities across the US. This moves the ownership from historically local folks to people from elsewhere.

The 48 million for the building in Seattle? Inside the opportunity zone boundaries. There are an estimated 12,000 homeless in Seattle. But, they are being used to push others out of specific areas. Also to have a talking point on "change". The amount of money spent on each "homeless" person is staggering. The accounting on OZ dollars vs Tax dollars will be an interesting thing to watch ;)

Assuming that at some point, Seattle will give the opportunity to gut/redevelop those areas to outside OZ investors.

And - the doors to the crystal palaces will be closed with private security enforcing access. They will have leveled the old buildings and grown upwards conveniently putting more people into the electoral boundaries in the process.

I made that through half a minute of that.

Tucker, like almost all media personalities, can be abrasive. At least he is bringing up the topic.

It doesn't change the fact that the Pac NW and other cities have suffered greatly in terms of being "cool and chill" places to live. They have been largely ruined in the last 6 years. He does a decent job pointing out some of the basic issues facing that city. And others. Also, pointing at the lunacy of spending. That doesn't need a "side". Most people are all for spending time/money on fixing issues if they make sense and are done so effectively.

Tucker comes across angry and incensed, though. That's probably part of his shtick. Just like Rogan goes for the chill/controlled delivery.

Watch that KOMO "Seattle is Dying" special news report for a more journalistic view of the entire situation. It was released 3 years ago.

The "actress" who got canned because of her anti-cop rant said the following:

A New York-based actress has been released from her independent film and theater company after calling it “fucking disgusting” that the NYPD closed down several city streets for fallen officer Jason Rivera’s funeral. In a now-deleted TikTok video, Jacqueline Guzman condemned “shutting down most of lower Manhattan” for the slain officer, whom she said “died for probably doing his job incorrectly.” While filming herself walking down the street, Guzman continued: “This is fucking ridiculous. What if somebody’s having a heart attack in this area? Nobody can get to them because it’s all blocked off for one fucking cop.”

No one can find her saying anything about streets and cities being shutdown due to protests or whim.

You have been posting eloquently about this issue here and in the Portland thread. Ever thought about mailing Tucker about it?

There is is much BS involved and it's right out in the open.
I mean, take the tract in Vegas that is nothing but the airport, a golf course, a casino (Tropicana), Siegfried and Roy Park, a few low income houses to justify the numbers

Here is how it looks at a random spot

Anyway - I do not think any of this is going to help low income families. They are just knocking everything down and gentrifying. Rich people getting rich, bending the rules to their own benefit. Flying a very thin flag of virtue.

Why isn't the OZ drawn to just benefit the low income housing area around Wilbur street?
:Hmm:

They have to get that land to build this kind of shit:

So - crime is a handy way to let people and businesses get shoved out.
In PDX, they let the homeless have their effect.
