Sweden announced that it will send military aid including anti-tank weapons to the Ukraine today. This is in exchange for letting the Swedish women have their choice of any manly and "exotic" looking soldiers.

WarGonzo and his DPR goons are now a stones throw away from the strategic city of #Mariupol.

Appears they've taken Sartana just outside of Mariupol, so the progress shown on this map is accurate. Maybe a few more days and the Russians have control of the southeast entirely, including the coast. Not sure how intense the fight for Mariupol might be... but they'll get circled very soon.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has officially signed an application for Ukraine's membership in the European Union, according to a post from his verified Facebook page.

"[Zelenskyy] has just signed a historical document — Ukraine's application for European Union membership," tweeted Andrii Sybiha, the deputy head of the president's office. Ukraine's prime minister and head of parliament also signed a joint statement, he added.

Wagner Group - Wikipedia

2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine
The Times claimed that during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which started on 24 February 2022, the Wagner Group flew in more than 400 contractors from Africa in mid- to late-January on a mission to assassinate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his government, and thus to prepare the ground for Russia to take control. The Ukrainian government received information in this regard early on 26 February, after which it declared a 36-hour "hard" curfew to sweep the capital for "Russian saboteurs".[33] The previous day, the government claimed its forces had killed 60 saboteurs in Kyiv who were posing as a territorial defence unit.[481] Soon after the government received the information, heavy fighting erupted in western and northeastern Kyiv,[482] with Ukraine claiming to have repelled an attack on a military base.[483] By the morning, Ukrainian forces had secured the capital.[484] The United States described Russian forces that entered Kyiv as "reconnaissance elements".[485] Others described the clashes as a result of infighting between the security forces and dissident groups, as well clashes between recently armed civilians.[486] Two days later, a US official stated, there were "some indications" that Wagner was being employed, but it was not clear where or how much[487].

Russia has been perfecting assassinating people over decades of cold war espionage ... and they have to fly in 400 African mercenaries to kill a Ukrainian Actor/Comedian? And they don't get him?

More like they (Ukraine) armed a less than reliable civilian population that is comprised of a bunch of warring criminal factions who then went at it with each other instead of fighting the Russians. Which the government then had to suppress and clean up.
