5.4 came out not too long ago I guess
I was bored and fired it up
So far I'm extremely unimpressed at Blizzard's last-minute raid idea "Siege of Orgrimmar."

Timeless isle is a fucking joke. You walk around looting chests ala Trove of the Thunder King except now you get free 496ilvl epics and some free 535ilvl epics too.

It's currently impossible to use LFR to beat Siege of Orgrimmar also, so unless you're in a guild it's not happening. Seeing as how nobody has posted about WoW here in over half a year I'm assuming nobody is an active raider so that ain't happening.

I miss vanilla WoW.

K I'll be back in two weeks when somebody actually reads this forum again.
 
i occiasonally raid and get better gear.. just to grind/farm shit with honorbuddy and sell gold for $$

I logged in once back in April for 10 minutes & that was that. Every since WOTLK I could never fully get into the game like vanilla / tbc.

I imagine it is even worse now.
 
I was considering it firing it back up for nostalgic purposes, but between this thread and other posts/threads I've read elsewhere, the game has changed a lot (obviously) for worse it seems?

Any other summaries/opinions out there on how it is currently?

I was looking to level to whatever the cap is (90 I think) and gear up at a super casual pace - sounds like getting gear is easy?
 
Don't even bother. Plus arena looks like it's such a joke now. Somehow they managed to take a pretty decent game & make it worse & worse with each expansion. Bravo.
 
Crossing my fingers on Wildstar. At least until it becomes as popular as or more popular than WoW and it slides down into a micro-transaction fest.
