Keep pretending, dumpy.
The truth is... you've bought into the von Mises libertarian nonsense and thus babble this **** about how everything else is socialist and leftist. You honestly think that The Economist is "left-leaning" because they believe there is a role for government in markets... even though they are one of the most famous pro-market, pro-limited government, pro-democracy, PRO-CAPITALIST mags on earth. lol
5 pages later, you've yet to produce a coherent and sensible explanation for why The Economist is "left-leaning."

What I ACTUALLY said was:
The Economist is famously left-leaning. (fact)
The Economist is neoclassical. (fact)
(someone, presumably TseTse, conflated those two statements to suggest that all neoclassical theories are left-leaning, to which I responded...)
Chicago school of economics is neoclassical. (fact)
Chicago school of economics is not left-leaning. (fact)
TseTse is intentionally truncating any and all of my posts that address his idiocy because he's a dishonest and unintelligent sack of ****.

You're delusional.
Just admit you've never read The Economist and have no ****ing idea what you're talking about.
(or continue making a fool out of yourself for another 5-6 pages)

The truly funny part is...
Authors in The Economist publish anonymously, and you will find a variety of underlying philosophies including those leaning more towards neokeynesian instincts and those leaning more towards neoclassical instincts.
However, across the board... The Economist is fervently pro-market.
To call them "left" is ****ing retarded.
However, on social issues... they often are very pragmatic and centrist.

Bla bla bla.
Fact #1 The U.S. is massively in debt.
Fact #2 The U.S. has a massive trade deficit and buys foreign goods with IOU's.
Fact #3 The U.S. is dependent on manufacturing nations accepting U.S. IOU's which are backed by future U.S. production in exchange for their manufactured goods.
Fact #4 The demand in manufacturing countries for the use of their own energy and goods is growing and thus they will have more of an incentive to export less and consume more.
Fact #4 The above is never discussed by either candidate because they don't understand it.
Fact #5 In general the American people don't discuss the above because they don't understand it either.
Fact #6 The American people are going to be caught by surprise and thus will therefore cry and line up to share the shortage and will bend over and do whatever they are told in order to get their daily bread.

any movement with the term neo attached to it should be disregarded as vanity outright
no regulation is anti free market and pro monopolization
the market thrives on competition, not overbloated giant companies

TseTse, let's try this again.
Is "liberal" considered "left" in the UK?
Is "conservative" considered "right" in the UK?
