Thank you Vanster. I've never traveled much in my life. Put money into living in California and toys. Can count the number of significant places I've gone to on one hand, but I feel comfortable when I'm in Mazatlan. My friend was very impressed by how friendly everyone was out in the water compared to aggro 'my wave' California.

btw Lots of running/biking/swimming events in Mazatlan

I have to tell you living in TJ this last year not a big fan of cities. It's been okay but I am envious of some of you guys who can live away from the coast.

Anyway, still saving money, but they stole a brand new battery out of our old Jeep from the apartment parking area here in Tijuana...

living with some lowlifes around ( not people living in the actual area, but transient homeless people.) Hopefully after June most of my time will be spent in Mazatlan, where we haven't had any problems yet.

My friend and I were there the first week of October and storm Rosa off baja was beginning to send waves to


We were so busy surfing once the swell began, didn't think much of taking pictures. Throughout the week I saw 2 to 3 times overhead waves. We both maybe caught 2 times overhead... but I stuck to head and half throughout the week... was super fun. Each day surfed at least 3 hours and busted up our arms and legs with the work out. I love this break; takes me less than 15 minute walk from the condo.

Frist day we stopped at Los Pinos and got a close picture of where we ended up surfing all week because of its proximity to the condo. Here's a nearly head high wave at the point... we were excited but had no idea of what was coming.


These next two pics are cell phone pics taken from the condo, (same Los Pinos point break)... if you can zoom in you can see some speaks on the waves... guys surfing at least 2 times overhead at the takeoff...




Got to get my wife to take pics sometime; that's the problem with surfers, no one wants to be on the beach taking pics...

32x32 room with balcony is nice, got a lot of depth at the condo? i forget how big it is

Yeah we're watching this one; thank goodness we're in Tijuana right now. It's actually a good thing about this storm, because if the windows blow out, we're under warranty and we find out whether this place can take it or not...


We are planning on getting storm windows. Which are these really cool electronic metal blinds that come down over the windows. But they're pretty friggin' expensive. In any case, we're waiting until the warranty is over and want to see how we hold up...

I hate places that still drizzle sauce all over the plate like it's 2001

I always hated it anyway. If the food needs sauce put it on the ****in food, I don't want to scrape all round the plate for jizz strings of sauce.

ya and restaurants that use the spoon to swoosh **** like mashed potato or polenta or hummus can go **** themselves
