OK, finally watched the last episode, and I am confused as **** (what else is new?).
Spoiler
Just what did Saul's changing his testimony do to help Kim? Why would he do that? How did that change her situation with a possible civil suit? None of it made any sense. It felt too much like a waste of time. Felt also forced, like WW's final confession scene to skylar just before he went off and got himself killed. Sure, it provided closure for their relationship, but in Saul/Kim's case, it didn't change anything, nor did he say or do anything she wasn't aware of. But now suddenly Kim forgives him, and she's no longer under threat of disbarment and civil liability for HH's death? She wrote a confession for ****s sake, outlining everything they did.
is this all still build up to Breaking bad?
I know it's good and I'll watch all of Saul eventually
but dang, knowing how it ends...
I will really like a Life After Breaking Bad Saul series

I think they are talking about a Jesse sequel. Shrug.

Me too

I don't really understand how his confession and subsequent lie about Howard committing suicide invalidates her DETAILED CONFESSION. I guess if Howard committed suicide then there is no damage to file for a civil suit. Which still leaves the question: WTF happened to Kim's DETAILED CONFESSION.
Doesn't make any sense unless he was just making a 73 year gesture to Kim. As if she would wait for him for 80 years.
Overall a pretty good show, it starts out slow in the first few seasons but picks up nicely and ends pretty bleh.
