Wow, Honda achieved 100 HP/L over 10 years ago with the B18CR (Honda Integra Type R motor).

The Corvette may out-preform many vehicles two to three times it's value, but it seems Chevy's policy is to just throw more displacement at it every year to keep it in the running.

Anyways, apparently the Nissan GTR is about neck and neck with the ZR1, and it's cheaper; it also doesn't use the old extra interior panels from Cavaliers.

No doubt it's much improved from the late 90's and early 2000's models, but I don't think it's anything to get all Ra Ra America about.
