4th link. There's no rule on what hotkeys are good, but I personally hate a lot of the default hotkeys.

Example: default hotkey is p for palisade. If you need to wall something off in a jiffy, reaching for the P key can screw you over.

I made a quick video to demonstrate why it's useful to be able to wall quickly.

No way. Trebuchets are really useful in imperial age.

castle stalemate gets broken immediately by the first person that hits imperial

Watched a few videos and didn't see a single one so I was curious, nor the few games I've played there weren't one to be seen, cause from where I stood trebuchet is what helps me win games. They'll tear up the battlefield while I protect them. I'll use those cannoneers instead if I play civ that uses them.


I play some. I actually LAN a lot, but, I'm a padawan compared to some of the people I play against.

i just ****ed up two dudes with greedo and had high score

castled at 21, harassaed right away with 4 knights killing a bunch of archers and longswords, then kept the pressure and produced more to knock one guy out, other guy left soon after

I havn't been back to this game, but I will improve my speed and play style. I **** my buddies playing as the goth with the huskarles, but, I either need to learn to play to their strength or find a different civ?

goths have one big strength, which is cheap infantry spamming. If you want to make something besides infantry, I advise you use a different civilization. You can sort of figure out what civilizations specialize in by looking at their unique bonuses, their available technologies, and their unique unit.

As a rule, every civ's unique unit correlates with one of the civ's strengths. For example, Britons get longbowmen, and the Britons specialize in archers. Huns get tarkans (which suck), and are a cavalry civilization.

Pretty much what I do when I play my buddies is build barracks in random places, so as my unit dies, they're replaced a second later, and when I get enough unit I storm from three different sides, thanks to the double number tapping to zoom in on parties. Goes on until I run out of gold, but most of time I win first. I think right now i just need to focus on strength and have faith in my civ.
