Hah not gonna bite. Like I said, don't know if you have a DSM or just use the Internet, but there's a bunch of info out there.
Well thanks "Dr. brick"....

I'll be sure & let my primary physician know that you are on the case! :bigthumb:

Please sumbmit your interweb addy so that you two may discuss my case!

depends on the type of extinction faced. it's impossible to say one way or the other. in an argument like this one it depends solely on who can frame the argument better than the other. if you were able to easily assume who'd survive extinction, we probably wouldn't be facing extinction. and the "stupid people have lots of babies and that's natural selection" argument doesn't really fly regardless. more babies = more chances at survival amirite

i think the problem is that you're using the terminology wrong. natural selection as an insult means something other than the true definition. it's a nerd insult directed at a single person, which holds no real bearing on actual survival

in a capitalist society with limited resources, more babies does not necessarily mean greater chance at survival... see india for plenty of examples. it probably does in a socialist state though.

it's a good thing there's no fetal alcohol syndrome from your drunken sperm.
I always have to worry about it, though...

But then I consider the meth whore mothers out there who give birth to the infants with hydrocephalus, gastric reflux and late-closure fontanelles...

and I'm all like, "Hell yeah, I can totally kick FAS's @ss!"

Yeah, and don't you think that I haven't considered that...

btw, I just flexed my right primary toe & it went "pop"

I hate that sh*t...

then hes an idiot who is misreading what i said and making the assumption that i said intelligence is some absolute requirement when in fact it varies per species.... but among humans it is definitely more critical than others.

No but what you're saying is wrong. intelligence is not more important than any single other thing. that's where you got it wrong.

As a species we won't move in any direction that isn't towards being more efficient in the current environment. which also is true of every other thing we know of. intelligence is no more critical to humans than it is to fish or ants.

so no, i'm not an idiot and no, i'm not misreading you.

also i'm the evolution expert in bounty's experts thread (which is now in the hof). :weird: :weird:

but really. i get what you're trying to say, but you said it terribly and need to not talk about evolution like that to people who don't fully understand it. because they will completely misinterpret you which leads to me trying to explain to people that their interpretation of evolution is wrong because someone didn't know what they were actually saying.
