I know... That's just fucking sick. I don't think he deserves to be paid more than Ovechkin or Crosby. Even Edmonton's 9 million dollar offer is too much but it's what it takes to get people to play here.

ugh...another driving force for salaries to keep skyrocketing...making 1.5 mil more than lidstrom is fucking stupid.

edit: and it looks like chicago will be pretty good next year...definately a playoff team imo

Actually Lidstrom would be making much more elsewhere..he took a pay cut for the team. Money is not everything to some people.
